The Awori Descendants Initiative (AWODI) was born from a deep love for our roots — to uplift, empower, and connect the Awori people across generations and communities.
Through AWODI, we extend all our core programs — education, healthcare, empowerment, development, arts, and culture — to focus intentionally on the growth and wellbeing of the Awori descendants.
We believe that by nurturing the Awori people, we help preserve a vital piece of Africa’s cultural, intellectual, and economic future.

What We Do Through AWODI
Education Sponsorships: Supporting Awori children and youth through scholarships, technology awards, and leadership programs.
Healthcare Access: Improving healthcare services and medical missions in Awori communities.
Empowerment Programs: Training and empowering women, widows, seniors, and youths with the tools to build sustainable livelihoods.
Arts and Cultural Preservation: Promoting Awori language, festivals, and heritage through vibrant programs and events.
Community Development: Building schools, clinics, water systems, and supporting rural and urban renewal projects within Awori territories.
Economic Growth: Facilitating micro-loans, agricultural projects, and small business support to strengthen local economies.
